• MOCK TRIAL COMPETITION

    Advisor – Mr. Richard Sarles

    judge
Mock Trial Competition is a national extracurricular activity sponsored by State Bar Associations whose purpose is to bring law to life for students through active preparation and participation in competitions. Each year, the National Bar Association with Local Bar Associations prepares either a civil or ciminal scenario along with necessary documents and evidence to prove or disprove the "so called" guilt or innocence of the accused. From this information, participating school teams prepare both the Prosecution/Plaintiff and Defense sides of the case (opening/closing argument, direct and cross examination questions). The case is tried at a County Court House with real judges presiding as judges in the case.
