• Hello and Welcome to D42!

My name is Ms. Sarah Liguori, and I am excited to inform you that I am your 4th grade teacher! I have been waiting ALL summer long to meet you, and I can’t wait to take you on the most wonderful adventures this year. Fourth grade is going to be a BLAST. Remember to finish up your summer reading assignments, and check out the 4th grade supply list. Enjoy the rest of your summer. See you in September! :-)

I was born in California, but I moved to New Jersey with my family when I was very little. I grew up in Plainfield, N.J. where I was homeschooled until I went to college. I graduated from Rutgers University in 2010 with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Hispanic Studies, then I attended Fairleigh Dickinson University where I received my Masters in Elementary Education in 2012. I am now attending FDU again to complete my Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certificate. I believe that it is just important for teachers to continue to learn as it is for my student, so I am trying to live by example. I have three younger brothers, and two dogs named Rosie and Abby who I adore. This will be my 3rd year at VDV in the 4th, and I love it. I previously taught 5th grade in Plainfield, N.J., but I have to say that 4th grade has my heart, and I know that you will absolutely love being a 4th grader too!

I will be using Twitter and ClassDojo throughout the year to highlight activities going on within our class, and to help keep connected with you all. You will receive a ClassDojo code the first week of school, but please feel free to follow D42 on Twitter by following @Ms_Liguori

I am looking forward to a wonderful and successful year together!

    Ms. Sarah Liguori
