    GENERAL CRITERIA FOR PROJECT

     

                     

    1. Each group must submit a public service announcement about the dangers of Alcohol and Prom. You have been placed in groups based on the people you have asked to be partnered with.
    2. The phrase, “Proms and Alcohol Don’t Mix,” must be included in the public service announcement.
    3. Senior students will be asked to participate in the taping of the public service announcements by appearing in the actual video.
      1. I must have a copy of what each members rolls will be in the video production

     

    1. The public service announcement must be a total of thirty seconds in length. Students should time the scripts by reading them out loud prior to submission.
    2. All scripts must be typed and submitted on a 8 ½ x 11 paper.
    3. No copyrighted characters, or use of celebrities can be used or inferred. Scripts must reflect originality, imagination and must easily be filmed and produced.
    4. Content should not be graphic, sexual or violent in nature.
    5. Students must include details of what each “scene” should look like when it is produced on camera. For instance, students should include the time of day, the location, the specific dialogue for each person speaking and what they are wearing. (Example: John and Jane are hanging with a group of friends grabbing a burger after school at a local fast- food restaurant. It’s a sunny day, and they are dressed in jeans and T-shirts. Everyone is talking abut where he or she will be going after the prom. John: “Hey guys, did you hear bout the party at Joe’s house.” Jane: Yeah, sounds great. Joe has invited a lot of people over to his house.”)

     

     

    CRITERIA FOR SUBMISSION FOR CLASS GRADE

     

    1. All directions and criteria discussed on page 1 must be met
    2. Below are area’s in which your written script will be graded:
    3. This project is worth 50 points
      1. Written Script (10) points:
        1. Submitted on 8 ½ x 11 paper
        2. Outline of member roles and responsibilities
        3. Creativity and Imagination
        4. Originality
        5. Relevance
      2. Video Production (40) points:
        1. Video must be at least 30 seconds long
        2. Video must include all members of the group
        3. Video must display creativity and imagination
        4. Video must be relevant and must be an exact replica of your written script
        5. Video link must be e-mailed to Coach B prior to your class period on 12/19/14
      3. This project is worth a total of 50 points
      4. This project will take up a lot of time and students will be asked to meet out of school to finish
      5. I will provide you approximately 5 class periods to work on this project
      6. Do your part as a group member. Any groups having an issue with a group member and their work ethic, please let me know as soon as possible. If there is a cause for concern we will address it immediately.
      7. PROJECT IS DUE ON DECEMBER 19, 2014 PRIOR TO THE START OF YOUR CLASS PERIOD
        1. (1) DAY LATE GETS YOU ½ CREDIT  (25 POINTS AVILABLE TO EARN)
