Experimental Studio is an advanced studio art course that builds on the students’ knowledge of the elements of art and principles of design. Various media is explored (watercolor paints, acrylic paints, pen and ink, etc.) through the hands-on creation of works of art using a variety of techniques. Artists and artworks that exemplify various styles and art history periods are examined for their cultural influence and relevance to works of art. 
    The creation and maintenance of a personal sketchbook (provided by SHS) is a requirement for this class. 

    Black Fine and Extra (or Ultra) Fine Sharpie markers will be required to be brought from home for your personal use in this class. 
    Successful completion of any additional SHS Art Class is required for admittance to this class.
