Meet Miss Teeling
Hi! My name is Liz Teeling. I grew up in Bridgewater, NJ and attended school in the BR district. During elementary school, I was active in many sports such as swimming, basketball, softball, lacrosse and cheerleading. While I attended BRMS and BRHS I was a member of the competition cheerleading squad as well as the lacrosse team and I was the Student Council Vice President.
After high school, I attended Penn State and earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Kindergarten Education with a minor in Special Education. I then continued my education at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN to earn my Master's in Education Degree in Special Education specializing in Learning Disabilities and Behavior Disorders. I have a love for learning and strive to build a relationship and understanding of all of my students. I plan to continue my education to earn post-graduate certificates in Autism Studies as well as Applied Behavioral Analysis.
I recently moved back to Bridgewater after teaching for a year and a half in Nashville and I am very excited to be working at VanDerveer. When I am not at school I love to spend time with my family, go on runs, be outdoors and explore the nearby towns. I love country music, watching football and reading. I hope to start traveling to different countries next summer!
